In addition to advising and assisting local and international clients, the firm has been engaged in recommending and implementing legal reforms in various areas of Jordanian law. Examples of the firm's experience include:

  •  In 1994, the firm was assigned to cover all legal aspects of restructuring the telecommunications sector in Jordan, and to draft the Telecommunications Law and bylaws.  
     

  • In 1995, the firm was appointed to draft the laws and bylaws for investment, which were enacted under the Promotion of Investment Law of 1995.
     

  • In 1997, the firm was appointed to draft a new comprehensive Insurance Law for Jordan and the Palestinian territories.
     

  • The firm participated in a number of advisory committees of different Ministries for the updating and amendment of legislations, particularly investment laws and regulations.
     

  • The firm was assigned by the Euro Jordanian Action For the Development Of Enterprise “Ejada” in coordination with the Ministry Of Industry and Trade to prepare and draft a new Competition Law for Jordan, which was enacted during 2002.
     

  • As legal counsel to the first (and currently largest) cellular operator in Jordan, the firm has advised on the relevant bidding procedures and has been involved in the preparation of the bids and the negotiation of the first License Agreements and the other technical agreements dealing with interconnection and spectrum. The firm has also been engaged in drafting the main documents and contracts dealing with the operation of the mobile network, and was in charge of a litigation dealing with the legalities of the tendering and licensing procedure.
     

  • As legal counsel to major international oil and gas companies, the firm was involved in matters related to natural resources, concessions and environment, and in negotiations for production, transport, supply and off-take agreements with the government and public entities.
     

  • As legal counsel to international finance institutions and banks, the firm was involved in the finance of several industrial and service projects in Jordan.
     

  • As legal counsel to the Government of Jordan in respect of the telecommunications sector-restructuring program, the firm has advised on the corporatization and privatization of the Telecommunications Corporation (now a private company), and has drafted the required documentation allowing for the privatization of this corporation including its charter and internal by-laws.
     

  • The firm represented a joint venture consisting of two major construction companies in a project to construct the Zara Ghor Haditha Highway, which is one of the most important highways in Jordan.
     

  • The firm advised international clients in connection with the preparation of bids, and negotiations of the Concession Contract for the Aqaba Railway in Jordan.
     

  • The firm was engaged as the legal consultant by Lufthansa Consulting GMBH Civil, which was commissioned by the Civil Aviation Authority in connection with drafting a new Civil Aviation Law in 2005.
     

  • The firm was engaged as the legal consultant by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for amending the Financial Leasing Law in 2006.
     

  • The firm was assigned by the World Bank, international clients and the Chamber of Industry in Jordan to advise on the legal aspects of projects on BOT and BOO basis under Jordanian law, and on tender documents, and regulatory matters pertaining to environment, labour, insurance, tax, and intellectual property.
